ferreting dogs ?

just wondering what do you lads and lasses want out of your ferreting dogs ? mine must mark holes respect the longnet respect pheasants and other game and consentrate fully on the job and must have eccelaration rather than out and out speed and not have too much of a prey drive as were i work has alot of barbed wire so what do you like your ferreting dog t o for you ?

I would like the dog to mark burrys and hunt up,have respected for purse nets and longnets and pick up bolters that slip the net.I wouldent worry about the birds but if you got permission on a shoot then fair enough.
