Well thats the end of hunting for me for a fair while i think , never been a problem before but since mrs has had a kid she has got more and more worried about what would happen if i was nicked , shes finaly snapped and it was either her or the dogs easy choice some may think , but when u look into the eyes of your baby daughter things arent so straight forward , and i think its up to a man to put his family and children 1st.2 lurchers gone to good working homes and the hardest part the terriers go sunday I realy enjoy lurcher work but when all is said and done it is the terrier alone to ground that realy deserves are admiration and the 2 bitches i have realy have made me very proud ime not a man for tears or regrets but saying goodbye to them will leave a bitter taste , in the end perhaps life without a little dog will become unbearable and the call of bar and spade will be to much but ive had a good 30 years of digging and lamping so i cant be to sour, i will look on this site occasionaly and watch jealously as new terriers come on and litters are planned and the deep digs mount up behind the seasoned workers, good luck lads and ladies appreciate the time you have with your dogs and treat them well they are truley worth more than gold.

Well done mate. They're the ones who matter. Like Scot said, once the wee lass is a bit older you can get out again.

That's f*****g tragic!

You see what Labour has done!!! :censored: they've made a man have to give up something he's been passionate about and done for a life time for the fear of being branded, committed and condemned as a criminal!

This country has it's priorities all wrong.

I hope you find your way back into the dog game in one way or another some time in the future mate, all the best :good: .

Are you giving up cos of the hunting ban or cos what you do has always been illegal? The hunting ban is so pisss weak that iv never known anyone give up because of it. If thats the case im very sorry for you, if your a poacher then good.
