freespirit 11
Iv'e kept Greyhounds & Lurchers and had em break a 6 months , 9 months and 12 months, but i found the 6 monthers are a b-st-rd to keep fit as you no sooner have em right and off they go again breaking down. Jab em up once a month with Duretestron during the working season and have no worries about seasonal rest, and yes the jabs have no detrimental effect on breeding at a later date, :11: Quote Link to post
Guest poacherjoe1
my dog came in to season at 3 weeks old and we put a dog to her and got 15 pups out of her and now shes got a pussy like a dusdin Quote Link to post
collie/grey 238
In my experience, a bitch should have their first season between 6 and 12 months, although in most cases the bigger the breed the older they will be when they have their first season. I'd take her to the vets just in case she has an infection though. Quote Link to post
