can be from 6 months on my last bitch was a year and a half before she had her first break.. ps...what you doing sniffinh her rear end

My Beddie Bitch come on use at 6mnths old and has come on regimently every 6mnths aver since shes coming up for 3 and I can set the calendar by her in fact I have a touring caravan and I book my Holls round her.

thanks for the posts looked at her to night and she is abit swollen but no blood but tiny bit of discharge al get her checked tomorrow and my other dog is not sniffin her pie :thumbs-up:

Iv'e kept Greyhounds & Lurchers and had em break a 6 months , 9 months and 12 months, but i found the 6 monthers are a b-st-rd to keep fit as you no sooner have em right and off they go again breaking down. Jab em up once a month with Duretestron during the working season and have no worries about seasonal rest, and yes the jabs have no detrimental effect on breeding at a later date, :11:

In my experience, a bitch should have their first season between 6 and 12 months, although in most cases the bigger the breed the older they will be when they have their first season. I'd take her to the vets just in case she has an infection though.
