what age is the norm for first season for a bitch gh/dh/saluki as ma pup is nearly 6 month and noticed this morning she is abit smelly from the rear when i had my last bitch and she came in to season she smelt the same . surely shes way to young or could it be an infection any help pls :signthankspin:

can be from 6 months on my last bitch was a year and a half before she had her first break.. ps...what you doing sniffinh her rear end :hmm::hmm:

MY BULLMASTIFF WAS 7MTHS OLD WHEN SHE BROKE FIRST TIME

I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT YOUR PUP WAS EARLY FOR A RUNNING

DOG IS THERE ANY SWELLING IF NOT SHE COULD HAVE AN IN FECTION

GET SOME ADVICE FROM A VET MIGHT NEED A FEW TABLETS TO CLEAR

IT UP

[iS THERE ANY BLOOD OR DISHCHARGE] ;)

:D Iv'e kept Greyhounds & Lurchers and had em break a 6 months , 9 months and 12 months, but i found the 6 monthers are a b-st-rd to keep fit as you no sooner have em right and off they go again breaking down. Jab em up once a month with Duretestron during the working season and have no worries about seasonal rest, and yes the jabs have no detrimental effect on breeding at a later date, :11:
