Almateus 2
used carefully it's fine, I've used it on one of mine for the treatment of Demodex, works a treat.. he was given 3mls everyday for weeks lol ( Wolfhound ) never caused any problems, just got to make sure you build up to the doses SLOWLY.. for general worming i wouldnt bother with Ivermectin though. berty1 8
Ivomec is deadly to Collies and collie x`s. I dont know why just Collies but trust me, ask your vet. I use it on my Saluki and Saluki X`s every 3 mths or so, it treats all types of worm and also mites/fleas/ticks. Brilliant stuff!!
jack_russels. 6
never had no problems with it i also use it on my pigeons
pottyboots 1
only ever used it for my pigeons, one drop on back of neck, what is the reccomended treatment for a lurcher???
benji benji 60
each ml of ivermec contains 1.0mg of ivermectin which is suffiscient to treat 50kg of body weight so watch what your doing lads
berty1 8
My vet told me to give each dog (lurcher size, 18-20kg-+)1ml injected under the skin at the back of the neck. They will definately cry out though, I think it hurts them like hell. I give 1ml orally mixed with a little water in a syringe. Works like a treat, used to treat my game cocks with it as well 0.1ml per KG of bodyweight. Used properly there is nothing on the market that covers such a vast range of parasites better.
