what to work

just wondering what you prefer to work. polecats, sandy or albino. and do you prefer male or female. just i have a litter of ablinos at the moment. want to try working hobs but dont know if they will get on or whether they will just fight. i know the father was a good worker but i never tried him with another hob. opinions please.

not bothered if there sky blue with pink dots as long as they do the buisness i work both hobs and jills my mate only worked hobs this season as his jill got killed and my hob worked with his no bother till later in the season when they were comeing into season but his hobs kept on working together no bother.

have only ever used jills,the hobs i have are a bit to big for my liking, doesn't matter about colour as i work a lot of golf courses although albino show up very well in heavy cover when exiting the warren, don't think there is a hard and fast rule,as long as its good for the job :thumbs:

We work 10 jills of various colours and 1 white vasectomised hob they all work well

if i had to pick only one colour and sex i would prefere the white jills only because they are easier to see in heavy cover etc

this is an age old question that nobody can really answer for you its something that is a personal prefrence and you will find

your own prefrence in time but dont be put off by ferrets colour or sex good bloodlines is the most important GOOD LUCK MATE
