Dan Edwards 1,134
Just take an egg and toss it in their pan, shell and all. Some say not to cuz it inhibits some digestions of biotine or something like that but it aint gonna hurt em. Once a week would be good enough or two to three times. Just experiment and see how it works for you. You wont kill em thats for sure.

Dan Edwards 1,134
just the egg, no shell for me, mix in with food, twice a week, Ya, that works too. I dont give em the shell cuz I think that they need it really, I just walk around with a carton in my hand tossin one down in the pan and it usually cracks a bit. They just grab the egg, shell and goo and go to eatin and lickin their pan. Never a shell left but the shell aint got much to it thats for sure.

Attack Fell Terrier 864
Eggs are great source of protein for both man and dog! You can feed the shell to the dog as the shell is a good source of calcium .
Tiff 36
you will see if they eat the shell they just digest it, you'll see it in their shit. For the dog to gain nutrition from it you have to dry out the shell and blend it into a powder. We have chickens and therefore a large amount of eggs, I only eat the whites and Kye only eats 1/2 of the yolks due to dietary reasons so our dogs each get a couple of yolks a day in their with their food. Noose manages to steal a few eggs a day and eats the whole thing, others just lick the shell clean.
