It's 1.20am,.....

Recommended Posts

Got up this morning, first things first, f*****g flat tire on the truck! Get that sorted, drive into town, eat, fight train for two hours, eat, shower, sleep for a bit. Wake up, eat, strength and condisioning for 2hrs, protein shake. Run 3miles, puke up protein shake, run 2 more miles, shower, eat. Go home, can't sleep (probably over training!) Just starting to feel tired, and EVERY bug in Missouri decides it wants to sample 'Tea-and-Crumpet' flavoured blood!...1.20am, and the Mosquitoes are doing my f*****g head in!...

Rant over, good night!

whos doing your training programme kye sounds to me like you`ve got it all wrong spread what you`ve done over 2 days and it will have the same effect your sleep patterns all fkd aswell .. your eating and training all outta of sync .. fit your conditioning in alternate days and build your runs up in distance over the week you`d be better doing 2 1 milers everyday then a 6 miler on a sunday . light run mile n half with sprint intervals - rest eat light meal - fight training 2 hrs - eat main meal rest run steady 1 mile .. sit down down and work yourself a rountine out mate you`ll blow yourself out your running on empty .. do some research on the mileage middle distance runners do and take a long hard look at your diet .. if your stuck look up ex boxer nev brown on the net he`s sound for advice ...

sounds a bit like my partner only not to that extreme.... Your really going to wear yourself out mate, too much in one day. If your trying to build muscle your going about it the wrong way... if you dont rest theyre not going to grow! Rest is one of the most important things. Eat six or seven times a day but small amounts with lots of protein etc in it. I dont know much but i know a little like.. good luck with them mosquitos :victory: nicole

Lol,...yeah, its not like that everyday. I work nights, so I'm used to not getting to bed until 3am. Normaly get up around 11am. It was just a rushed day, and one that started bad. Its not strength training for a full two hours either, more like 45mins of real 'work', the rest I'm learning technique (Olympic Lifts) I'm cutting weight at the moment aswell. 168lbs and 10% bodyfat, can still deadlift 335lbs for 5x5, realy keeping my strength on this cut so far, also on the Paleo Diet, which I like. Thanks for the concern guys, just wanted to say, that was NOT my typical day!

This is the start of my usual routine, and I find it is working great for me. Took a while to find out which one worked best, but am doing great with this one,.

10.30 - 11am shout downstairs for someone to put the kettle on, 20 minutes later get out of bed and empty bladder.

3-4 cups of coffee later, and half a pack of biscuits later hit the shower. Get dressed.

Collect any letters and read all the flyers. Sort of getting near to lunch time, so check that all my dietary requirements are going to be looked after, ie bacon & egg sandwiches.

Had a bad bout of the runs, think it was due to too much quality food intake, 2 kebabs on the wednesday, pizza (all you can eat) on the thursday followed by a ruby on the friday.
