in my limited expereince ive found thats rubbish keener faithfull no

between the dogs and bitches ive had/have the bitches do seem to want to get down to work at an earlier age wether that be terriers or lurchers.

i prefer dogs where running dogs are concerned no problems with them coming into season and all that.

and prefer dog terriers

i think its the other way around,i find bitches usually become decent,but dogs not so much,but if you get a good dog then its usually something spectacular,if you think about it,most of the so called legend dogs were dogs not bitches,this is why when pups are for sale bitches are more expensive than dogs,as they average out to be better

my bitch run's on her own, and has no problem taking anything and no she's not a bullx jist yer everyday common lurcher, i put it down to pure determination plus the fact she jist like's killin critters and that does for me. :11:

i find bitches are easier to train and not as boisterous sorry about me spelling i have one dog terrier good dog i did have lurcher dogs but they kepted fighting when theres a bitch around so i found it easier with a bitch but i find dogs to be stronger

Id say in my experience there have been more top class singles bitched than dogs ,and that bitches generally come to hand earlier,personally ive allways kept dogs ,but Ive seen many more good bitches than dogs,just cant be doing with the seasons.

Doesn't make a blind bit of difference - a dog or a bitch will give you as much as you give it, if you love it , it will love you back, if you treat it well, it will treat you the same, show respect and faithullness, it will return this, no matter what gender :thumbs-up:

Unspayed bitches can be out of shape for months each year with the whole heath and maybe false pregnancy thing.

 

But both sexes can fight and piss you off generally

 

If you want a certain type or breed than there is a size difference, dogs are bigger and heavier. For me, looking for a average animal of 25 kg, I would buy a male track whippet or a female grey.

 

But the sex doesn't determine how good a dog is...its parents and you do that.

As its been said, it varies on the dog, look at strength. my 24.5" bull/grey X collie/greyxwhippet/grey BITCH is stronger than what my 26.5" saluki/grey/whippet was.

Where running dogs are concerned I have always kept dogs, I have found bitches mature earlier but dogs seem to have that edge, but there are good and bad in both, I have also seen some very good bitches though! Terriers are the opposite way around, I prefer bitches, always have, my dogs are mainly kept for working cover and I find bitches alot more willing to work, dogs can sometimes be lazy and dance around the cover waiting for something to happen, before they get stuck in. I like a dog that wants to put the effort in.

 

As for being faithfull, my little red terrier bitch and lurcher dog are the 2 most faithfull you could get but my other 2 terriers (one a pup from the red bitch) are not as faithful, don't ask me whay, they all get brought up same, from pups, 'tis a mystery!! :11:
