Malt 379
Lug are tricky to keep in good nick for any length of time. Some lads I know keep changing the water, others gut them and put them onto a frozen metal tray and put them straight in the freezer. I just keep them in a big bucket with seawater & a good bit of sand in the bottom. They keep OK like that for 24 hours of maybe 36 at a push without changing the water. Where I live they are readily available, so I don't usually have the problem of keeping them. Tight lines! Quote Link to post

johnrthrfrd 223
best way to keep them for a couple of days is to lay a few sheets of news paper in the salad tray of a fridge lay the worms on the paper so they do not touch each other lay some more sheets of newspaper on top of them and do the same till all the worms are layered in paper then put a couple of sheets of paper on top of them. keep mine for a few days like this no bother.
