New Springer to the collection

Recommended Posts

Hi lads,

Just thought that I would put up this quick post and show you what I have just bought and is waiting at my mums for me to pick up in July :whistling: .

I bought the rifle, the scope and the lamp with charger etc for a brilliant £183 which also included postage  .

All is in perfect working order according to my step father who tested it for me and took the photos  .

He said that the rifle is going through 3/4 inch of pine at the full length of his garden (26 metres), which is pretty good and goes along with what the seller said of it only being used a few times from new :clapper: .

The bloke that was selling it only used it a bit for lamping bunnies then fell in love with fly fishing so just put it in a wardrobe so fester for almost a year :wallbash: .

It has a few small scratches on the stock where he as miss treated it and banged it about and a scratch on the end of the silencer  .

I will be able to make her look like new again with a sand down and re stain and a re spray on the silencer ;) .

A couple of hours work for a brand new looking and shooting rifle  .

Next thing for it after that is a trip to SFS for a work of magic from Tony and then she will be staring in DVD number 3 :whistling: .

The scope is a Bushnell 3-9x50E with a mil dot system and Illume set on Sports Match Pro Mounts

The seller said it was an AO scope but obviously its not but beggars cant be choosers at this cheap price :clapper: .

I forgot to say its a .22 calibre.

Hi Jack buddy,

No good deal magnet in my pocket mate  . I wish I did as id have an armoury of rifles by now mate  .

I just know a quality rifle when I see it and if its going cheap like this one was it has to be got  .

I just love the HW95K mate (pure quality) :notworthy: .

In my opinion it’s the best light weight springer on the market by far mate. I don’t really see any other light weight rifle coming any where near it  .

You know the quality yourself now buddy especially after spending a week with Mr Wall at SFS ;) .

Hi Carl mate,

Well done pal  . I’m made up for you pal :clapper: .

You won’t be disappointed with a BSA Ultra buddy.

The best thing I’ve found about them Ultras is if you take off that crap BSA silencer that it comes with and fit a Hogan Decimetre silencer it turns the gun into a sound proofed shooting dream  .

My mate Reggaeman used to have one fitted on his .177 Ultra and when he fired it I thought the rifle was broken or out of air mate.

It are nearly twice as quiet as my HW100KT and if you have ever heard a HW100KT fire mate you will know just how quiet they are  .

The accuracy on them as well is outstanding :o .

They are the best kept secret in air rifle hunting mate.

I’m after one myself now mate to give to my 9 year old before he tries to claim my R10 :censored: .

Hi Falcon mate,

Yes the HW97KT is a lovely bit of kit mate.

Its my overall favourite springer on the market buddy.

A little heavy but I believe that helps to reduce the recoil and aid accuracy at range.

You would do well to get that model pal.
