East coast 2
How would a visitor who is across here to shoot roe, but ends up shooting 3 red deer, how would that stand? Just curious as to what the legality off this would be? Also the stalkers who where across, 1 managed to put a bullet through roof off pick up, Don't think they will be invited back again. wireviz 8
You can shoot deer out of season if the deer are on enclosed land but if you area a client or a guest then its a no no you should have taken the rifle and shot the culprits. What country were they from as most foreign clients i have took out have been very respectful and careful. Quote Link to post
East coast 2
It was danish clients, it was on an estate near where I stay, The agent that was out with him said to shoot the deer, the red deer had got out a deer farm. Quote Link to post
wireviz 8
He should not have done that and they should not have shot the deer both could be in trouble should it be substantiated. Quote Link to post
East coast 2
As far as am aware the police where involved and the lad that owns the deer farm was demanding the deer back. Didn't think the permit would allow them to shoot the red deer as it would just be down for roe. Quote Link to post
mj robson 8
That's if they had a permit?? If he was using an estate rifle and was accommpanied at all times he wouldn't need one. Only if he brought his own rifle and/or was being left unaccompanied would he need a police permit. Cheers, Mark. Quote Link to post
East coast 2
They bring there own rifles with them. Quote Link to post
stando 177
The "permits" are one issue, but i would be far more concerned about a "LOADED" rifle in a truck while stalking deer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The agent sound's like he hasnt got a clue as regard's safety or stalking in my opinion!!!! Quote Link to post
East coast 2
Certainly is worrying when a rifle goes off in a motor. Quote Link to post
solongaman 0
The agent that was out with him said to shoot the deer, the red deer had got out a deer farm. I think you meant to say "guide" or "keeper" or "stalking tenant" Quote Link to post
East coast 2
Stalking tenant. Quote Link to post
