Hob&Jill 258
One of my jills had 3 kits, 3 weeks ago. She got rid of one so I now only have 2 kits. For obvious reasons Ive been keeping any disturbance, handling etc to a minimum. I went to feed her about an hour ago and she seemed calm enough so I picked her up and gave her a fuss but there is a large lump still inside her stomach area. I can only assume shes got one inside her still.... I assume I am going to have to pts at some stage, but I still have 2 dependant kits for at least another 3 weeks.... I cant imagine I could leave her for another 3-4 weeks with this inside her. Shes not acting strange at all and the 2 remaining kits are both growing well and looking healthy. Having just become self-employed and started/invested alot of money into my own business I am not in any position for a costly cesarean or any surgery. Any advice would be greatly appretiated. Jamie m 668
You sure it's not just milk ??? If not vets I go to my vets first a d explain [bANNED TEXT] is wrong saves trapesing all the wy there with ferrets , if there is something in there it will become infected she will die , but if your not prepared to go to a vets why keep animals it's one of them things that can happen Quote Link to post
