Had a trip to derwent today took 15 trout kept 8 and put 7 back nearly all took off the top on a black hopper.

All the resavoirs around here , Derwent, Kielder, Fontburn, are fishing well, fly and bait, at the moment. Maybe the change in the weather ?

past the res today with a small ripple on ,be good on the evening when its cooled down a bit the fish will be feeding well

nice one did u get any thing over 2 pound i fished it the other week for the water aid comp and my 8 fish only weighed 11 pound 8 which is crap

smallest fish was 2,3/4lb biggest nearly 4lb
