rizla1 122
get the missis nail varnish and just paint the body and it will drop off, as ticks breath through their bodys used to use it on the ferrets and it works a treat Quote Link to post

martin 332
Whatever you decide to do NEVER cover a tick with butter/vaseline or anything else like that,if you do they regurgitate their stomach contents back into the host causing infection. If you are a responsible dog owner you will get one of these green removers(even more important if you have one on yourself)........here is a site that will definitely educate a lot of people that believe they know all about ticks and the dangers of getting one on yourself. http://www.bada-uk.org/ Please read it,it is very informatitve!!! higgins 75
Have a look at my recent thread a few weeks ago with pics,i used tweezers but make sure you don't leave head in skin,my pics will show you how the tic should look when pulled out, mine was still alive, don't use excessive force just firm gentle upward pulling till it releases it's grip, atb, Higgins Quote Link to post
