Millet 4,497
That dog is lovely condition and looks the part, and i am sure he will do you proud, but as far as engine room and deep chest goes that has none,he look's more like a pure greyhound to me and them back legs need to be under him instead of standing like a show whippet, crack on with the mighty whins show lines im sure he will be more of a legend soon like brian plummer. This is not a dig at you or your lovely looking dog mate. Quote Link to post
Tiff 36
LR from what I gather he's culled the dog for a shaky recall... the dog was from whins lines but not off whins yard, and hadn't been socialized soit was an uphill battle with the dog Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
I like the look of the dog and the uphill battle will be won if the owner has the minerales, , but the dog has no engine room at all or deep chest which has been stated, im not disrespecting the dog or it's owner im just stating facts on what i have read and can see. Tiff 36
I am guessing it was from whats been written, maybe I'm wrong and its in a pet home now? But it sounded like it was running stock or giving stock the eye. It had already been passed to a couple of homes so I would guess that whin probably required that this home be his last stop ... too many dogs passed over and over again Quote Link to post

flashb60 2
this was Sam, He could Run for fun, and had the best pair of Lungs I ever saw in a dog, but his Recall, was an extreme, one day he would come straight into you, the next, 5 yards off you take one step forward to him, and he took a further 5 back, I brought him in to top fitness and condition, I only wished I had that dog from a pup, ((( they do not change hands very well, he could retrieve to within 5 yards off you, and I had hin jumping, without recall you have NO DOG, but sadly there is too much livestock around were I live, sorry to see hes gone and hope he gone to a decent home, But one thing i will say is you look after the dogs with the condition he looks in well done, whats the new pup then Quote Link to post
