I have to be honest I have only ever seen one Border bitch worth her salt but having said that I have only ever seen two or three attempt proper terrier work(our crew tend to work black ens with the odd russle) but the one that is good I would happily put pound for pound against most terriers to ground and I would willingly pay every penny I could afford to own her. Best of luck with your pup mate ATB Quote Link to post

CorkyJohn 808
Hope you haven't bought yours from the North East as there's a couple of names that way who have bred/sold shite for a few years now. Especially in the Durham/Sunderland areas, my mate had a bitch he wasn't going to breed from but was offered £50 for her papers so the peddler could continue to breed from his bitch over the given age & still KC register the pups. Had a border years ago from Sunderland way & made a cracking bolting terrier but was a 5 min wonder. Quote Link to post

romany52 313
I had one years ago , dandyhow breeding it was , ended up too hard , would just plough in and kill fox before you had time to pick up a shovel. they are sensitive and slow starters, as a rule you need patience. Quote Link to post

Ended up too hard???? So f*****g what, if there were more Borders like that the breed wouldn't be in such a shit state as it is. You obviously haven't got a clue or you're talking shit Quote Link to post

You obviously haven't got a clue or you're talking shit Not talking shit, most folk want to dig or bolt the fecking fox, for which he was fine to begin with, but eventually reached the stage where he would go strait in kill and come off, that's not what you want if your doing it for sport, pest control fair enough but at the time a lot of my digging was with fox hounds, a killing terrier is the last thing they want on a dig. Sounds like your the one talking shit without a fecking clue mate. Quote Link to post
