Just bought a berkley powerbait blade dancer from game fair.. £2..

 

Are they anygood for pike?

 

What lures does everyone else seem to have much success on?

Depends on where i am fishing and the depth.

I have recently started using the rubber type soft baits in various different colours and sizes from 2" perch style ones up to the big bulldawg type. I have had alot of fish over the last couple of years on the springdawg size, orange and yellow.

rapala magnum x lures expensive but the best lures by far.

i whent pike fishing earlier for the first time. i went with a regular and caught on a jelly perch 6inch long. it was the first pike he saw get caught on a lure for a few weeks.

My favourites are squirelly burts , hell hounds , magic makers and bull dawgs . Those lures catch me a lot of fish on the waters i fish

Thanks for all the replys, I will look at trying some of them. I seem to have found the ondex spinners seem to catch more for me. Although I have only managed to catch about 4 pike during the time I was doing it (about 6 month). Not done it for a while as I got a bit fed up not catching all the time. I am wanting to get back into it this year though. When is best time to catch them? (time of year, time of day etc)
