alright lads, every so often in the dog world big names come up, for match winnings/cup winnings day coursing and lamping dogs and so on. in your opinion who do you think is the dog thats up there as an all time great and why. could also include lines and so on if people wish.

Merlin and eve lines for coursing thats been proved beyond reasonable doubt as for lamping edible game i think the most noted are the minshaw dogs but alot will no doubt beg to differ then most of us will just be happy with wat we have had or got like it should be.atb dell

mate there are a few pathetic men who do talk there dogs up but there are some that are truely that good. was watching on you tube dogs geting 3 out of 3 and 4 out of 4 and even 5 out of 5 and can keep up good consistancy think thats prity amazing. out of interest fence hopper how old are you and how long you been in the game. getting to know good lines and good dogs ensure you get a good pup when you buy one but only dogs that have earnt it. hence why i started this post to become familiar with certain lines and dogs. so i myself dont waste my time with owning crap but nice welcome to this site fence hopper your a keeper lol

age irelavent. do you have mates? are there dogs any good? if so get one of them. instead of chasing the next big thing. i have run a dog for 10 yrs an taken everything we had to offer here. the suluki boys talk names it dont interest me one bit, i know what a good dog is, so theres a slim chance of me owning shite. i even run a pure greyhound which works like a lurcher. so if i ever wanted a dog i'll take one from her and not be sucked in buy these big names

if you not competing for money etc and you hunt by your self most of the time like i do u dont need a super dog. my dog catches enoguh for what i need and more. although it is good to watch a mint dog work. jus my opinion.

mate not being funny but word does spread very fast so these truely amazing dogs that are un known couldnt of been that good as word spreads very fast especially in the dog game. so i dont think they would be hidden to long. but i would of thought for a hunting website people would know and want to know of certain lines and good dogs other wise how do you know if the stuff in your kennel was off crap. like both my dogs i know the sire,dam grand sire grand dam sisters,brothers and so on and seen them all work before even considering owning one of the pups.
