gurtwurz 792
eh up lads, well after a weekend of total frustration due to the bumped scope i finally got the hump and took the wtc off, intending to replace it with a map pro as they seem well regarded by you fellas(and there was one in the cupbourd at home). so i set it up, took it out to zero it and realised i hadnt checked the mounts properly, naturally they didnt fit the r10 very well :wallbash: so i got meself back home and dug out a bsa essencial 3-9x44 with medium mounts that definitely fitted and got up the following morning to zero it in. on the way up to the valley i noticed one of the farmers cattle out on the road, so i rang him to tell him and carried on. i cant get a signal up the valley(yes! ) but the farmer left a message saying he needed to talk to me about my shooting... all sorts of permission losing thoughts went through my head as i duly rang him back... 'can you go and take a look in another field for me?) he asked me, course i can i said and off i went to check it out, a triangle shaped field flaked by a main road one side and a school on the other...its about 5-6 acres with a bit of life there thats mainly bothering the old fellas garden at the end of the field, which is why the farmer wants me on it i reckon-hes been getting earach from the houseowner about em... so with new scope attached i set myself up along a hedge after putting warning signs up at the footpath and entrance gates, since i wasnt totally settled in the new scope i kept myself restricted to 30 yd shots cos i knew the pellet'd land where it was meant to. after about 10 minutes the first young un popped up and promptly backflipped with the joy of being shot through the head... i waited a bit more and out came another potential olympic athelete so again it was goodbye fromme and goodnight from him... only one photo lads cos my phone ran out of battery life but the other one is from the other night at the stables when it all went tits up on me. both shots are of the exit wounds, which is why theyre nearer the eye than you'd want, i can assure you they went in right tho!! i'm gonna head back up the stables tonight now ive had a bit of time with the new scope and do a proper trip over the new ground over the weekend so hopefully i'll have more to report by sunday night! all the best lads, wurz 1 Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
@ phantom: SPA?? wossat mean then tony? cheers lads, wurz Slut Point Awarded If you make a good informative post, then doen the bottom right of the screen there islil a section that says (when you mouse over) 'vote this post up' If you click on it, it gives the poster a reputation point! Now being old' skool, having a reputation meant you were either a bad ass mother fooker or (if female) you were a slapper or slut. So giving someone a 'Slut Point' (slut point awarded) means you have given them a plus point in their reputation Phantom Quote Link to post
