Recommended Posts

Thought creosote was banned nowadays

Mush i wouldnb't use creosote, just buy the cedar red fencing stuff,i've a ferret court been treated with it and it has withstood all the wet weather and snow we've had last couple of years and will look good too,

I think an ingredient in creasote was banned meaning for a while it was, but now you can get it again with the banned ingredient replaced, so its not exactly the same but you can still get it. I await being corrected on that tho as I may of just dreamed that up!!!

I like ronseal. anything will do for the outside just be more careful if your dogs can get to and chew treated areas.

No i think you are correct. The new stuff that you can get is pure rubbish compared to the old. Someone told me you might still be able to get the old stuff but need a license for it :hmm:
