Guest jt750 Posted June 1, 2010 Report Share Posted June 1, 2010 whippet/grey first cross or 3/4 whippet grey did the trick for us on our small fields ..from what i saw on our fields when we had a lot of hares the saluki hybrids didn't really have the pace to get to the hare quick enough unless they were used mob handed .. Guest michael.hudson7 Posted June 2, 2010 Report Share Posted June 2, 2010 i got a 1st cross saluki grey and he is good in the big feild but i find my 5/8 whippet 1/4 greyhound 1/8 beddlington much better in the smaller fields. she got the intial burst of speed and the agaility too stay on the quarrys backside.
