Keep shooting the Jays mate, there will be alot of songbirds that will be glad that you did. Lovely bird in flight and its got some vision but can be a deadly on nest and young chicks.

They sure do have a very distictive call. They are very useful when you are out at the pigeons and there warning "screech" that danger is around, usually old mr fox sneaking about!
