b.s.a meteor

my b.s.a meteor has just stopped working it will cock but wont fire has anybody any idea what it could be? i was using it all day on sunday with no problems then it just stopped working im new to the hunting game so i have no idea what it could be thanks

sounds like your piston seals gone, strip it down and check it

does the air come out from between the breech and the action when you try and fire it ???

yes the air comes out of the breech are they easy to replace seals on the b.s.a and if so where would i get seals is there any good stockists sells these parts? thanks for the help.

a breach seal is only an o-ring at best mate any good gunshop should have a few lying around and they only cost a pence but check your barrel incase you have one up the spout aswell

This happened to my mate, easily sorted (I've forgotten what he did sorry lol), but it's a good idea to make sure you have jammed up the barrel with too many pellets before you noticed the problem, and if theres multiple pellets in the barrel you'll need a rod to fish them out

The same things just happened to my Meteor - perhaps it's something to do with this unusually dry and hot weather?
