garfield 23
you wont go far wrong with a js,ramsbottom scope they are really good quality but one word of advice! check out the weight and length of your prospective scope, the heavier it is the more it will dampen the recoil but obviosley increase an already heavy rifle. The lenght is important as you will want your scope as close to the barrel as poss but if its too long it will obscure the sliding breech and loading pellets will be a pain in the behind hope this helps. aaronpigeonplucker 32
the hw97k is a pretty heavy gun so you dont want to weigh it down with a big fat tactical scope. i would suggest an MTC mamba lite 3-12x44 as these have plenty of mag for spring gun hunting and a very lightweight. if your on a budget then as the chaps above have mentioned JSB make nice scope but not a shade on the quality of MTC's Quote Link to post
garfield 23
sorry aaron but its a false way of thinking the extra weight will help dampen the recoil a too light a scope will be noticable in muzzle flip and shooting accuratly will be a painful learning curve Quote Link to post
Max4345 0
As others have already said, I'd recommend the JSR range; I've got one on my Meteor. Quote Link to post
