Mind you, it was only a week from sending my shotgun app off and getting a call and still took 5 months for me to get my SGC.

 

So i cant see it being too fast this time TBH

 

I emailed my force to ask whys it taking so long for me to get my interview for my FAC, dont be shy mate. IF you dont hurry them up they will take the piss basically. Give them a ring or matey.

Iv been told that they do the renewals first and if you ring them they get the hump but i thought i would have heard by now

I sent mine off 2 weeks ago and have'nt had a call yet to arrange an interview but i phoned them a couple of days after i sent it just to make sure they recieved it and they did and said they'd be in touch in the next couple of weeks, still waiting but not going to pester them just incase it goes back to the bottom of the pile.

It's nearly 2 months since I sent the forms off now, and I've got the FEO coming over week after next. Don't think he's done the land check yet either, so imagine it'll be a few weeks yet!

 

Wasn't very impressed that the police managed to lose one of my referees forms. They say they never had it, the Post Office recorded delivery system says otherwise, but hey ho, what can you do excpet get the referee to fill in another one!

 

Hoping to get the certs by christmas!
