Ok here goes i got my first pcp after many years of springers(its a 2 shot raider)after the struggle of getting a decent pellet to match the gun and tightening the top plate on the 2 shot mag i started getting some good bags.Went off yesterday to complete my set up and brought a sak mod from local gun shop. The guy says its for .17 and .22 bullet rifles but will work fine on a airgun?I have been out early this morning and after abit mucking around trying to adjust poi there was lead clipppings in the mod.The threads on the barrel have an rubber o ring near the thread end does this stay on or off when fitting the mod.Is there any thing else i can do or try as i am getting a little miffed with this rifle now.Cheers dean. PS i am using falcon pellets with good results when mod is not on gun.

a new sound mod shouldnt have pellets clipping the end but i had the same prob with my raider but mine has the shrouded barrel so i can live without, i would get it back to the shop and ask him to check the tread alignment on both the mod and the barrel :victory:

If you can borrow a mates mod to try, then I would try that first, if the swap makes a difference than get another mod, if taking your pressent mod off returns your accuracy, then chances are its your mod, but the only way to find out if its the threads for your mod is to try another mod
