poacher3161 1,766 Posted May 30, 2010 Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 IMHO a very good cross for a bit of every thing they used to be very popular 30 odd years ago [bANNED TEXT] the deerhound hybred was common were as in recent years the saluki hybred as took over the other part of the cross.I used to organize courseing meets in the early 80s before the salukis were that popular in the north any way and most of the lurchers that stood out were supposedly of this breeding and nearly always out of the collie cross dam.atb dell Quote Link to post
ferreter.al 22 Posted May 30, 2010 Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 my mate bread a litter of these types and the pups have just finished their first season and i will tell you that they were all bleters and doing the job.brains and stamina to burn.the 4 pups that i know of are all doing the job 4 nights a week to a good standard for 1st season dogs.hope this helps.atvb Quote Link to post

I have this cross with a bit of Whippet in him, Cant fault this dog :thumbs: Here is a couple of pics of him. He will be 3 yrs old this coming season,stands 25"tts.
