WelshLad1 0
Good thread guy's, some good points on saluki lurchers and first crosses must be honest,I think boyo made an excellent point when he stated that allot more sal lurcher to lurcher litters are produced year on year and therefore allot more chance of a world beater. My personal opinon is that having a pup from good lines wether it be saluki lurcher or first cross gives you more of a chance of producing a world beater . I believe thou as boyo stated it is more down to the conditioning and entering of a dog and not wether its a first cross or Sal lurcher to lurcher. As it is funny that the same names keep cropping up with the best animals - good stockmanship?? Y.I.S - Conlon Quote Link to post

THE STIFFMEISTER 15,735
Personally I like them.... Good starting base to develop onwards as you can work out what is what in the pups, Seen 3 litter mates from an ex track dog to an imported arab dog, I would have had all threee in my kennel, Great hare dogs Quote Link to post

I heard the sister to beany owned by C.S wernt bad but i do agree though the first crosses are pacey enough for a bit of everything. and thats another subject the brown and white dog was an old collie dog would catch a Blue Hare, they are nothing to boast about, No wonder the Lurcherman, is looked down on, ffs, Quote Link to post
