Ashover rabbit dogs 76
keep it clean mate, dont use too much salt in the salt water mix or you will burn the skin, 1xteaspoon to 1 pint warm water. dont let the dog lick it. if kept clean it should heal on its own. we have delt with some monster cuts. MissRhianL 70
the same thing happened to my dog a few weeks back, runnin on a rabbit an caught himself in the fence. had about 2inch tear himself. Tried superglue but the skin wouldnt stretch that far and hold itself in place to heal. Just bathe it every so often and let the dog lick it clean it. The dogs wound gradually pulled itself together and has healed up nicely. Dont take it to the vets coz they wil milk you of ur money. Longs if u bathe it now and again and let the dog lick the wound, it will heal up nicely and save you money.

Ashover rabbit dogs 76
dont let the dog lick the wound unless you want it to get infected. keep it clean and dry if theres fur gettin into it clip it away.
