ive just been given 3 tins of rws hobby pellets by a lad that has been going rabbit and pigeon shooting with me (nice gesture) now what i would like to know is will they suit my theoben evo and will they have the thwack i require oh there in 22 cheers Degsy

doesn't matter if its .22 or .177 its all about shot placement buddy :thumbs:

i also have a tin of BSA high impact interceptor's .177 which i shall put through a test :thumbs:

Hobbys are very accurate to 25 yards in my HW. They are a well made pellet for the price, can't think of any other pellets of the same quallity for £5 a tin. Good for close range hunting which is mostly what I do, not so good in the wind.

I had an HW80 years back that shot really well with them.

 

Nice flat flight for a .22 out to 25-30 yards but they do slow down quick due to their shape and light weight.

 

Great for short to medium range, if your gun likes them.

I used BSA Interceptors (only because the local shop had run out of RWS Super H-Point) last year and wasn't that impressed with them, too may had large amounts burr on them from manufacturing. I would spend half my time with a sharp knife skimming it off.

 

That said a good pellet still had the same effect on Mr & Mrs Bunny.
