well sounder, i had no problem at all down here once my safe was checked they had licences out within d week. the licence is a bit of a joke ok an don;t know they wanted photos when they didn't use them, y.i.s, sionnach

Still waiting on my HMR license, no magic S on either rifle license. Two properly processed licenses were done within the three month deadline - just. No problems with ammo limits. Overall, not terribly unhappy.

no bother at all.Mine were overdue with 3 days and i still got away with it.They never even checked my safe,then again they know that i'm a nice fella.

i got the famous s but a mate did not, some houses were check also some semi-auto were checked to see how many shot's it took ect, i had to get alarm fitted and i have to have two gun safe's !!!!

as for the form's alot of info was not needed and as for the cards you get pure shite you think they have it like a bankcard or even like the nargc card !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, credit card with a photo on it would have been a lot better. The text on the card came off and stuck to the plastic wallet on mine...

Hi Lads,

Just after joining this site.

I have been 2 months for my .17hmr with silencer,

The Supt. wont let me have a silencer so I'm a bit annoyed but I'm still waiting,

The funny thing is that my neighbour got my old .22lr licenced in 2 weeks and he had no previous licence And my neighbour is head of the local gun club has been waiting 2 months for the reneual of his shotgun and rifle.

The Supt. here is not fond of licencing silencers so Im more than likely not gone to get it anytime soon
