Phantom 631
Hey up guy's and gal's Wandered over to the Pool Bank Clearance permission yesterday and as I arrived the landowner called me over to her kitchen UH OH I'm thinking Well as I got to her door, she opened it and told me she had spoken to her lifelong friend who lives in the bungalow next to the Cemetery and as she was so pleased with my efforts she had recomended me to her and as the church council are impressed with my efforts in the cemetery this lady has agreed to let me onto her land. So I now have access to serious bunny numbers and those lil furry feckers that think they are safe when they leave the cemy to avoid my pellets will have to think again I spent the next 4 hours at Pool Bank and didn't see a bunny although the landowner says there are still a few 1st thing in the morning so I'm planning an early raid sometime next week (04:00) On my way home, I called in at the property next to the cemy and paddock and introduced myself. The landowner took me around her land and boy oh boy oh boy have I got my work cut out for me there As I walked down her drive a dozen or so legged it, I saw a further 5 in front of her garage, two of the cheeky feckers were on her door step and another gawd only knows ran down one side of her house. As we went into the back garden there must have been two dozen next to the orchard, then as we approached the fenced off garden, the numbers were overwhelming and that was just at one side. I have seen dozens at the side next to the road The only stipulations she has made, is that I let her know when I call at the land, and I don't shoot the ferral cats or her daughters (who used to go to school with my wife) dogs when they are on the grounds. As we walked round I shot 4 kits, one of which fell down one massive warren entrance that has been enlarged further by one of the dogs. The other three are below This is going to be a superb sniping spot, I will be shielded by the fence as they come out of the warrens and make their way over here. I watched them for a while yesterday and they all sit and wait as they come out from under the tree you see thats 35 yards away then they also stop at the gate opening. To my left is bunny paradise, to my right is my paddock permission. Here's the group portrait A closer look Good shot if I do say so myself And the best one of the bunch.... Right between the ears from behind Phantom Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Thank you gentlemen I'm so looking forward to it The land owner mentioned the two little Black Bunnies that keep comming in I was looking forward to letting them grow to adults so I could use their pelts Perhaps there may be times when I accidently miss the occasional shot Si, I keep trying to nick the video camera for a spot of bunny bashing, but the wife says "Its my camera and I don't want it used to film animals being shot" If it wasn't for me riding 60 miles to get it she wouldn't have the damn thing, its only been used at xmas, in Cyprus and a couple of birthdays, it just needs to be used don't it lads Its too big to fit it to the scope though, so I'll have to sit it on my tripod. Stroller buddy, thats a bloody long road from here to Durham Did no one notice the bunny that was blind? "White eye" not the Red eye Phantom Quote Link to post
