Night Hunter 109
Dogs seem to love these I think these ones would be better as the wooden barrel would stop the condensation problems,I will have to see if I can get a keg to give it a try. Quote Link to post
dillan 19
Tried the large blue plastic barrels a couple of years ago with hole cut out of lid, although great for hygiene not good for condensation from dogs breath, runs down the innersides and wets the dogs bedding in no time, seemed to happen more in colder weather, gone back to ply boxes. 4.10 6
i dont have that problem mate theres enough ventilation with the hole Quote Link to post
pointer 543
ive used them on and off for years as i can get hold of as many brand new barrels as i want but now i use wooden beds.easier to keep clean and they must be warmer.if the bedding does get damp in the plastic barrels it sticks together and what looks a easily cleaned dog bed becomes a hassle. lawrence 657
would drilling a few holes in the sides not help with the condensation ? Quote Link to post
