rickyspringer 15
pups can be registered if the bitch has already had a litter aswell as a vet certifying that the bitch is in good condition to whelp a litter. May I ask where you got this info? As it's news to me, I always thought the rule was 8 years old unless there was exceptional circumstances. Edited to add - Quote from Kennel Club website - 1) As per Regulation B3.25 22c (2) “The General Committee will not accept an application to register a litter when the dam has already reached the age of eight years at the date of whelping. Relief from the restriction set out in 22c (2) may be considered by the General Committee normally provided the application is made prior to the mating, and the proposed dam has previously whelped at least one other registered litter. Any such application must be accompanied by veterinary evidence as to the suitability of the bitch involved in the proposed whelping.†4) A letter from the applicant’s veterinary surgeon must accompany the application stating that the bitch is in good health, and confirming the suitability of the bitch to produce puppies despite her age. The letter must be obtained at the point of when the bitch comes into season and this along with the application should be sent prior to the mating. So £250 for unregistered pups is nothing special unless buggsbunny has got all the above sorted to register them forgot to mention that you need to ask prior to mating but what you have said is exactly what I have said but mine is in simpler terms. Anyways if they are not registered £250 isn't a good price, Quote Link to post
