I`ve been breeding lurchers over 30 years, I got so fed-up with all the travellers after pups, I just stoped and started looking for something to put my blood line into with good looks so I could keep breeding and sell to joe blobs, which i did at £475 each pup for the last 6 years. i agree there is plenty of breeds already out there thats made for the job so why breed shit its all been done before and shall we ask why not many people own working manchester terriers is it because they have been now bred to a show standard and not a working standard so there prey drive has been bred out of them if they were still good workers many would still work them correct me if im wrong

Wow this the last post I really must get some sleeeeep, They were the most common sight on the hunting field up till world war 2 when man killed most the rabbits off with myx. the black & tans just went out of style no need for a true hunting dog. by 1960 they was only ten k.c. dogs left in england, the old ladies which kept the breed going mest up the hunting side, that where we come in o.k.
