BSA LIGHTNING XL TACTICAL .22 (custom camo)

Recommended Posts

I have a BSA Lightning XL tactical .22 with a custom camo job. I covered the gun in cloth tape and worked in camo paints to give it a shrub-like colour, perfect for stalking rabbits in grassy areas. The camo helps break up the outline of the rifle, therefore reducing the chances of you being spotted by animals. If the camo is not wanted i can easily remove it for you.

I Need to save up for a trip to Canada with Friends, and thought someone would make good use of the rifle.

.22 , Muzzle velocity 730/FPS, 241 m/s. Weighs 3kg. Full Barrell integrated supressor. 2 stage trigger, Stock Will not warp in any weather conditions, impact resistant polymer with built in cheek rest for perfect scope to eye alingment when the shot needs to be taken swiftly. Shock absorbent rubber But-plate. Shock absorbant scope rail which stops scope moving.

I Payed £294.00 (without scope) in February for it from a professional Gun-dealer.

Will include Manual and interactive BSA Guide. This is probably the best springer available.

PLEASE MAKE ME A SENSIBLE OFFER AND I WILL CONSIDER IT. I'm looking for around £235

rifle in very good condition.

P.M. ME WITH OFFERS ...please do not comment.

Scope not included (as it has centimental value to me).

Regards,

No-more-rabbits.

Nice gun mate, but you have got the muzzle velocity mixed up with .177, a .22 shooting at that speed with a 14gr .22 pellet, (which is a light pellet in .22) would be 16.5 ft/lb.

Sorry mate, i'm affraid your talking bollocks. the FPS is 730 in .22, if you don't believe me take a look at BSA's official website.

What is the point in making negative comments without actual proof of your claims.

think about this please.

Hi, you've read the maximum possible muzzle velocities on the BSA website, if you scroll to the bottom of their page, you'll see that guns are supplied to conform to the laws of the country of destination, in the case of UK, that's 570 fps for this gun. If you check this link, you'll see the specifications for the UK market. http://www.airshooter.co.uk/acatalog/BSA.html This isn't criticism, I'm just trying to be helpful.

I don't talk bollocks, i know what im on about, unlike some people.

I also said nice gun mate, which was in fact a positive comment.

I just didn't want to see you get in trouble by possibly selling a firearm, (or what you claimed it to be by the lack of understanding) or the person buying possibly getting into trouble.

At no point was i making negative comments or having a dig at you, please understand this.

Good luck with the sale.

p.s to work out the power of a gun in ft/lb the formula is:

fps x fps x pellet weight in grains, then divide by 450240 = ft/lb

Alright mate, sorry,

i've just had quite a few people comment on my items when they have no interest in buying them, they just feel they should share their opinions or they contradict what i have written, which makes me look like a twat and it is quite annoying.

Yeah, ok then. the FPS must be 570. As you seem to know your stuff.

oh, and kyle mate, go jump off a nice high bridge somwhere God-for-saken.
