If you are then you need to think about the future of your sport,there isnt always laws that are gonna tell ya whats best for your sport, but as a "fieldsports man" you will have to make those choices. do you really wanna shoot anything in breeding season unless its causing problems ?? food for thought ;-) Quote Link to post
poacher3161 1,766 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 I would not shoot them this time of the year as their will not be much meat on them plus hen birds will no doubt have a brood some were that relies on her to keep them safe.Soon as october comes fill your boots likes been said an head or neck shot i have shot them in the brest with a rimmy and they have flown and dropped 100 yds.
