Hi, mate.

 

So long as they're in season, you can shoot them no probs. Just like a head shot on anything else, so long as you can put your shots in the kill zone at the ranges you shoot, crack on.

 

Many traditionalist's frown on takeing game birds with airguns but a well placed pellet will do the job just fine. :thumbs:

The pheasant shooting season lasts from October 1st to February 1st in England, Scotland and Wales.

 

In Northern Ireland, it lasts from October 1st to January 31st.

 

Ive just copied this from the net as i wasnt sure of it myself mate.

thanks, i new what the season dates were it just I didnt relise it was illegal to shoot them out of season.

I only asked a question, either put something constructive like everyone else has or dont bother, I thought one of the points of this forum was to get other peoples advise.

Yes thats correct its to give them a chance to breed, thats why you dont shoot them.
