What does evryone use on their pcs/laptops?

 

What is the best free anti virus, what do you run all the time, what do you scan with say once a week?

 

What type, ie Toolkits, a virus, ant all in ones that really do do the job.

I use microsoft security essentials ..can be used with genuine windows only ..it has anti virus firewall and anti spyware ..runs fine on my laptop and only slows up slightly when updating but not scanning.

I also use firefox with ad block plus and web of trust add ons.

Web of trust is where people have rated websites for phishing spyware unwanted downloads etc all the nasty stuff you don't want on your computer...what it does is block the web page before you view it and gives you the options to look at the ratings before you open the web page ...if you're like me you use google's search engine and when it displays the findings it shows a small ring next to each site which has been rated from green(means ok) amber(could be dodgy) to red (no go)
