thought with it been a nice day would bugger off to Roos where my clubs out door range is,, an fine tune the the nikko scope i put on the S400, but instead of using the paper target i thought bugger it i will use the permenant htf/ft course we have set out all year, so 20 mins shooting a metal crow at 35yards i had had enough an job done,the scope was just about zeroed before i fine tuned it, i start to walk back to the plinking range Phantom knows how the layout of my place is, 55 yards zeroing/ plinking range with benches and knock down targets, as i walk round the corner i sees a big black corvid i thought cheeky sat as bold as brass on the range about 36ish yards from me scoffing, so slots a jsb exact into the s400 an thought you are gonna die mofo,managed to kneel down with little noise made crosshairs on its bonce first stage taken up i thought any min now its gonna take off, cos the other guys were in the caravan supping coffee making a right row an fek me if it dint just raise its head an give me a better side shot second stage gone phutt lead on its way to meet crows head crack it fell over no flaping of wings just a dead corvid well happy, then all hell broke loose all his mates on the power line started to go crazy circling an making a hell of a noise i thought i had shot the leader of the pack, thinking to myself i would leave it where it fell might get a maggie or some of his mates to land an have a nosey, but it wasnt to be they all fekked off

 

 

 

 

so that must be first corvid to me Tony eh???

 

 

anyway im off for a beer now

Cracking shot mate, you did right to leave it where it fell, it's not unusual for other crows to swoop down to see why there mate aint moving anymore

cheers guys dont normaly do corvids, but seen as tony(phantom) is having a hard time with them,i thought i best get one quick before he does :whistling:, it might give him the nudge(sorry T),just a shame my permission aint got many bunnies at the mo cos charlie keeps getting em :wallbash: an it aint cleared for centerfire
