borntoshoot 1
Hi all. I am going to rear some pheasants in my garden this year and was wondering how chicks are to be kept warm on journey from gamefarm to my house because they will have to be away from the brooder lamp for around three quatres of an hour??? I have all equipment needed (shed, brooder lamps, feeders, drinkers etc just need chicks and pecking bits. If anyone can give me a solution to this problem i would be greatful and if im just being over cautious and they will be okay for the journey please let me know. thanks. Jake Quote Link to post
Guest ragumup
They normally come in cardboard or plastic boxes form the game farm of fifty that number keeps them warm. Quote Link to post
Lab 10,979
Just make sure there are no drafts during transport so they do not get a chill. Quote Link to post
