Saw 2 foxes , one scarpered as soon as the light hit it but the other a nice sized dog fox respoded to the call coming in to approx 70 yards ................................... :D

Well done Foxhunter. Pity about the other fox though, does someone else shoot the ground or is it one you have missed ?

Hi mate , yeah some other guys go out with shotguns after rabbits ......................... need I say more :(

Yep Frank , the amber filter is excellent . I have used red filters for the last 20 years and decided to change to amber last season on a recommendation and I have found foxes tend to completely ignore it :D

I find filters don't work with lamp shy foxes, I personally prefer no filter. Just don't put the beam directly onto the fox until your ready to take the shot. Works for me anyway and makes recognition easier at range

Somebody probably has had a pop with the shotgun :hunter:

Anyway you know what foxes are like , you will never get them all that is why I love foxing so much :D

I guessed that the shotgunners had probably had a go at the fox but why the filter if it doesn't make any difference to a lampshy fox?

just wondered why use a filter at all :hmm:

Shooting easy foxes is no fun at all but it has to be done and i know which i'd rather shoot

Good do out mate and that look's a good size fox.. .. but one question mate what's that silly big thing you are holding..? ..what happened with the good old laserlite which you so keenly excersised your shithouse rat eye's with..

Millet

Millet , I still use the laserlite most of the time , especially when shooting hares and rabbits. But when I am intentionally only going after foxes I now use the lightforce as it has a far superior beam when you need to take a shot at distance . Also with the onset of old age my eyes are not what they used to be :11: :11:
