keeping ferrets cool

hi fellas how do you all keep your ferrets cool in this hot weather.and i don't mean put sunglasses on them cheers.

Fill two litre plastic juice bottles with water and freeze them .pop them in the bed compartment

Try and keep the cages or court in the shade the best you can

Water bottles is vey good idea,i dont have to bother as i built my court under two apple trees against the shed.plenty shade on one side of court.or if you got the resources and the time do a stubby and build them a ferret swimming pool

lol. i did the dog with the watering can, tried to do my hob with it and he sat back, bared his teeth and hissed at me ! but he will stand there while i squirt him with his water bottle

i put the hose pipe on them but then the hob goes and rolls in dirt

Hand a wet towel in front of the open window or door, or cover part of the hutch mesh with it, keep wetting with cold water.

Mine have a swimming pool in their court, and a fan in their living shed, keeps the air moving all the time.
