Jamie m 668
I like albinos and well marked poleys but when it comes to breeding if they don't do the do in the field they won't be geting bred,I lined my albino jill to a siver this year there's two in there solid grey almost blue .all but one of my kits are going to working homes and it could be all of them by the time they are weened Quote Link to post
gerron 13
I preffer albino's too ! I'm actually looking for a couple of albino kits this year so if anyone has any in the central belt of scotland gives a shout :-) Quote Link to post
runforyourlife 361
Prefare albinos, simply because they are much easier to see on the ground, especially in thick undergrowth, and from a good distance away. Also easier to see when break thruogh on a dig. Like the use of a polecat when there is snow on the ground, for obvious reasons. Just reversed roles... Quote Link to post
The one 8,467
I like all colours when im working more so in a big warren so i can see who's following the rabbits out and who's showing without walking about picking them up ,but no polecats as i think there to dark to see easily under hedges etc . scothunter 12,609
i have always kept poleys wouldnt keep any other type.just my own preference and prob cause the worst bite i ever recieved was from a albino fert when i was a kid,so you can keep them lol Quote Link to post

max abell 196
Got poleys/whites/a sandy and a silver prefere the whites easier to see in cover but thats the only reason working ability has got to be above anything else in my book colour doesnt matter much Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I like the look of poleys, but prefer working albinos purely because the cover is quite thick round here year round. Quote Link to post
