Ferreting a few for the dogs

Had a couple of hours out this morning, ferreting a few rabbits for the dogs, no nets, just a ferret and the two running dogs. A good enjoyable morning in the sunshine, no pressure from this farmer for big numbers, so just let the dogs have it their own way.

well done wilky,dont do a great deal with the lurchers day time,but been meaning to do that myself just the ferrets, dogs no nets.

did a bit of it last year was all good fun, cant be arsed to net up these days

hi frank i find whiipetts good ferreting dogs. quick on the bolt and will tackle thick hedges

Millet/Frank

 

The black bitch is a first cross Bull/Greyhound

 

The fawn dog is Bedlington/Greyhound x 3/4 Greyhound/1/4 Whippet

 

The pics are from a camera phone, so not too brilliant. We just had a couple of hours to kill, got a dozen rabbits and buggered off home happy.
