Good age to sex kits pick up

Title says it all first time mum kits 10 days now when would it be ok to pick up kits for a look I don't want to push it just inpatient to say the least it's her first litter not bred ferrets for 19 years shall I wate til there about 3 weeks old

Kits are easier to sex the older they get for sure.

As for handling young I have never had a problem from day 1!

Depends on you jill ferret i sex them at one or 2 weeks some jills are ok with you being near the kits others anrnt.

I myself wean them for a week when 7 weeks old to make sure all is well rehome them from 8 weeks.
