Richie10 345
People paying money keeps the lions alive. Alot of the hunting like this is taking out problem animals which it put out to visiting hunters so they earn some money out of it as well. If this wasn't done how much would be put over to cattle grazing and predators removed? This is their extrinsic value, they need people to come over big game hunting to sustain the game parks. SHOTGUNSNIPER 47
That video is at least 4 years old - I originally saw it at an African hunting seminar if I remember correctly the lion was in an enclosed area of a hunting estate and had been causing problems for some time.... Shooting it was a last resort as it had returned several times after beeing driven away.... I can't believe you guy's are so critical of a situation you know nothing about....When I saw it the first time my hair went up on the back of my neck - I havn't hunted African Lion but I have gone after Mt Lions and Black Bears - I have been charged by a Black bear once and it is a hair raising experience..... I think the videographer did a great job of keeping the camera still while all the action was unfolding! There is contact information at the end of that video I am sure that more could be found out about it before opening you gobs in an obviously jealous & critical manner.... JEEEZ YOU SOUND LIKE A BUNCH OF ANTI HUNTERS OR ANIMAL RIGHTS WACKO'S..... WHY DON'T YOU GO PLAY WITH YOUR FERRETS OR GO TO THE PET SHOP AND LOOK AT ALL THE PRETTY LITTLE FISHY'S.... Guest eastmids
dont know why you bother shotgunsniper im from uk and when i read some of these posts from so called fellow hunters its embarrassing. little britain with its big mouth telling the rest of the world how to hunt whilst clinging on to what little hunting rights we have thanks to people that sound pretty much the same as some above. reminds me of when someone put up a hunting clip on here some time back of native africans wearing nothing more than rags armed with spears takeing out a hippo to feed themselves, the site went up calling them barbaric b*****ds etc what a joke. i wouldnt want to spear a hippo or shoot a lion, but it ill behoves any of us to.... if you know what i mean. bagzi 0
You Yank's! Are You f*****g sure, 4 blokes with high velocity rifles killing a penned Lion. I,m sorry Yank but most Brit's wouldn't even contemplate killing a Lion thats backed up against a fence with 4 Wankers taking pot-shots at it, can't even kill it cleanly! Personally I'd kill anything that needs killing even a Lion but to have some pricks pay to shoot a captive Lion. That's for c**ts.
