punydan 0
I,ve got two ferrets, a mother and daughter from last years litter. This year I covered them both with a vac'd hob and bought them both out of season, so far so good. The mother has gone through a phantom pregnancy and for a while I was questioning if the hob was a rig or not. Anyway she is now seriously mothering the other jill and won't let her be, and the daughter has got into biting me at every opertunity. She is real nasty and has drawen blood several times, she never used to be like this and was a really friendly little tyke. I think it's down to hormones and frustration on her part, but its getting a bit tiresome and I can't handle her as I used to also I have a 5yr old daughter who used to enjoy petting them. Any opinions? Quote Link to post

It never hurts to much but I think she's getting a taste for my blood Quote Link to post

stubby 175
nothing you do now will change her, certain ferts behave like this at breeding time, explain to your little girl, that this happens with ALL females, and the jill will return to normal, after the summer Quote Link to post
