colliebird 1
What happens if no one claims them in 7 days? pts? atb Jai. They will be rehomed, either directly from the pound or handed over to a rescue to rehome them. The problem is, that if found dogs are dogs that have been in vehicles that have been stolen, they have probably been dumped a long way from whome and in an area that the owner of the dog wouldn't think of looking for it. This is why we have K9 Search UK, doglost.co.uk and various other sites for advertising lost/found/stolen dogs, with lots of people searching each site to try and link up dogs with their owners. colliebird 1
What happens if no one claims them in 7 days? pts? atb Jai. their not bullbreeds mate they will make sure them kind of dogs find homes. All breeds, including Bull breeds are found new homes (if they are not aggressive and are healthy). Fortunately there are quite a few staffie rescue shelters, and the majority of dogs in multibreed rescues are Staffies that have been dumped or given over to rescue. Unfortunately there have been hundreds and hundreds of Staffies that have been dumped over the past several months. No ID, unclaimed, some of them not in a good state, and the breeders keep churning them out!! Money is all a lot of them appear to be interested in. They are a nice breed if they are bred and reared properly. If anyone is interested in adopting a Staffie, I can point you in lots of directions to shelters where these dogs have been unceremoniously dumped and are desperate for a kind, forever home! http://www.k9searchuk.com/latestfounddogs.htm Go visit www,staffiezone.boardonly.com Good forum Valerie
